Hello! Best Friends is looking for volunteers to help with our 7th annual Glow Ball Golf Scramble and our 16th annual Family Fun Day. Please see below for more information.
Saturday, June 15th: Best Friends is needs a couple of volunteers for our 7th annual Glow Ball Golf Scramble that will be held on Saturday, June 15th. Our scramble will be held at the Heart River Golf Course, with registration starting at 5pm. Eighteen teams will tee off at 6 p.m., play nine holes of golf, head in for dinner and prizes, then at dusk the golfers will play the remaining nine holes in the dark. We are looking for volunteers to help with contests/photography during the daylight hours of golf, starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending around 9 p.m. Dinner will be provided for volunteers.
Saturday, June 29th: Best Friends also needs help with the 16th annual Family Fun Day, on Saturday, June 29th. Family Fun Day is a fun-filled, family oriented day held during Roughrider Days at Jaycee Park. We will have 10 inflatables, games, barrel train rides, and a photo booth. We are looking for volunteers to help during the day with set-up, manning the inflatables, and take-down. We have volunteer shifts available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each volunteer will get a Best Friends t-shirt and water; if you volunteer for both shifts, you will also be provided with a free meal from the concession booth.
